April Open House this Saturday evening

DAS' monthly Open House is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. this Saturday, April 13 at DU's historic Chamberlin Observatory.  We hope to have good weather and see many members set up their telescopes and other observing devices on the south lawn to support this important public outreach effort.

    Mother Nature cooperated with an early clearing of the sky, and decent seeing. A half-dozen or so ’scopes were set up on the park lawn, and about 90 attendees enjoyed views through the observatory’s 20-inch Clark refractor. Overall, a nice April Open House!
